- What data we collect
Website visits (analytics) We use Google Site Kit (Google Analytics and/or Search Console) to understand how many people visit our site and which pages are popular. This involves processing: IP address (shortened/anonymized where possible), browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, and time/duration of visit.
Contact form If you use the contact form, we process the information you provide: name, email address, and the content of your message.
Blog comments If you leave a comment, WordPress stores your name, email address, and IP address.
Calculator tools Our technical calculators (e.g. the Thermal Expansion Relief Load Calculator, PSV sizing tools, line sizing tools) run entirely in your own browser. Process data you enter (pressures, temperatures, dimensions, etc.) is not transmitted to our server, and we have no access to or visibility into it. Some tools offer a "save" feature (save/load/autosave); this data is stored exclusively in your own browser (localStorage) and stays on your own device. We do not process this data at all.

- Contact form If you use the contact form, we process the information you provide: name, email address, and the content of your message.
- Newsletter: consent.
- Comments: consent (given when posting).
- Retention period
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected for:
- Contact form messages: up to 2 years, unless a longer period is needed to resolve your request.
- Analytics data: per Google Analytics' default retention (typically 14 months).
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Sharing with third parties
We only share data with:
- Google (Analytics, Search Console); data may be processed outside the EEA under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our hosting provider, which has technically necessary access to server logs.
We do not sell personal data to third parties.

Our website uses cookies for analytics. Non-essential cookies are only placed after you give consent via the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the site or through your browser settings.
